Social Inclusion

  1. Maybe you should come speak to this class instead of me. Rofl. You’ve nailed it on the head yet again. Social inclusion matters to us more than others might think, and it’s a double edged sword. On the one hand, if you were my only friend, I’d be content, because you’re like having a star in my pocket. A burning, shining light from somewhere so far beyond what I ever thought I could touch, it’s a gift and a blessing. On the other hand, the ones who do turn away due to our blindness can hurt us deeply, because it can reinforce so many negatives, even if that’s not the overt intent. You put it out there. Shed light on it. You get people thinking, because inclusion begins with awareness. You make that happen.
